Botox in Bowie, MD

Botox® softens the expression lines that can make you look tired or tense. Botox is given by our licensed healthcare providers, not the med spa team. Every treatment starts with a conversation with your provider, so your plan is built around your face and your goals.

What Botox is.

Botox® Cosmetic is an FDA-approved prescription injectable. Small, precise doses temporarily relax the muscles behind dynamic wrinkles, the lines that form when you frown, squint or raise your brows.

Commonly treated areas include forehead lines, the frown lines between the brows and crow's feet around the eyes. Results are temporary, so your provider will talk through what to expect and when a follow-up visit may make sense.

Who it's for

Botox is for adults who want to soften expression lines or keep them from settling in. It is not right for everyone: your provider reviews your health history and medications, and will ask about pregnancy or breastfeeding, before recommending treatment.

Botox or fillers?

They do different jobs. Botox relaxes the movement that creates lines, while dermal and lip fillers add volume and shape. Your provider may recommend one, the other or both.
